Please see below copied e-mail correspondence from Louis and Michael O'Neal regarding the terribly tragic and untimely passing of Dominique Bright of the Savannah, Georgia Bahá'í community on July 31, 2013.

Dear Savannah friends Please send out prayers for Dominique Bright. Kizi just called me to say that he has been shot... It was Dominique who was the first junior youth to be registered several years ago leading to a parade of his peers also registering to be on our rolls. He is a precious soul. Just last week he, Kizi and I were together making plans to attend the upcoming youth conference. Again say prayers for him and his family... Allah'u'abha love Michael C. O'Neal

Dear Friends Dominique has taken wing to the Abha Kingdom.. Just got off the phone with his mom, Ms Angela Hill, and she shared that he passed on last night. There was another casualty as well. I will try to get more information about him as well... Please keep, "number 1", Dominique Bright and his family in your prayers... I will call to mind some of these remembrances... Remember his praying in the Mother Temple with us. Remember his studying the books at the center and in our home Remember his humbleness, his smile and gentle politeness... Remember that he planned to attend the youth conference in Atlanta next week... The work must continue unabated! Allah'u'Abha Love Michael C. O'Neal

Thanks dad for the beautiful message you sent out. I saw last night on Ty Baker's Facebook page that he had passed. We all will remember Dominique and his infectious smile and laughter. I attached two pics that show Dom as his usual fun loving self at Louis Gregory. Love you dad. - Louis

Thanks Louis These old pictures of Dominique from Louis Gregory Baha'i Institute may help some of us understand what kind of spirit we have lost... Thanks for reminding me why he was the obvious choice to be number 1. Look at that face!!! I shall miss him so. love you son Michael C. O'Neal

Dear friends Below is a statement made by the mother of the young lady who was with Dominique when he was taken from us. "If it wasn't for Dominique Bright, my child wouldn't have been here today." http://www.wtoc.com/story/23039164/mother-of-shooting-victim-speaks-out How many people get to be remembered in such a light? God is glorious Michael C. O'Neal
